A Turn Of Emotions

Mount Erebus

Noise bounces from wall to wall 

A room full of people awaiting a call 

237 passengers excited for what was to come even though
they should have been fearing the outcome

A turn of emotions yet to occur

A tragedy about to strike  

A plane plunged from the sky like a shooting star

Although this one not so bright

Claiming all lives 

Tears shed and speeches spoke 

A day remembered for a lifetime and more.

Magic of the globe-piece for this week

Fear and a sense of curiosity shudders through my spine, my eyes glued to the mysterious object sitting on my desk. Curiosity gets the better of me and I leap to my feet. The glowing sphere shape gets brighter every step I take, but I wasn’t scared anymore. I had a feeling of warmth that spread through my body. Touch surprisingly a cold sharp sensation on my fingers, as the glow dims my eyes squint for a moment. Once my eyes resume open what I see is shocking at first, as it is not what I had imagined. What I saw didn’t even appear magical it was just a globe, just a globe I thought shorly not it had been glowing.....

The Magic Of  The Globe

Darkness covered all objects in view from my window, a faint flicker of street lights in the distant. A sleepy town I dreamt, a place of peace and equality. My mother and farther stur to the creek of the house. I awoke at sunrise to the snores that leaked from my brothers vocal chords. A new day I tell myself, I try to convince myself  that this one will be different even though I fear this one the same. 

I walk to school with my brother eric, his warm clammy hand pulls on mine dry and cold. He asked me if  we were safe, I took a deep breath and stopped walking. I tried to tell him that we would be fine just as the day before but I knew he knew otherwise. My day at school gloomy and dark, and teachers just as blunt. I stand stationary by the bike rakes waiting for eric. He walked out of the corridor shoulders slumped, I go to ask him if he is ok but my voice is tied in knots. 

Music-2019

In music so far I have learnt the Em,G and C chords on acoustic guitar and electric guitar. I have also learnt to play G major on a keyboard.
